Recipes with Memories/ trust center
Your data

Yours to keep, yours to take, yours to delete.

Four things you can do with your data, all of them free, all of them quick.

Export everything
Get a single JSON file with every user, recipe, memory, family, and cookbook tied to your handle. Includes timestamps and visibility scopes so you can rebuild it elsewhere.
Delete your account
Removes your user record, your recipes, and your memories. Comments you've left on others' content are anonymized to '@former-cook' so threads stay readable.
Leave a family
You disappear from member lists immediately. Recipes you contributed remain in the family cookbook unless you also delete them.
Take a recipe with you
Print as PDF, copy as Markdown, or transfer ownership to another cook in the same family.
How long do we keep things?

Retention

  • Active accounts: we keep your data as long as you have an account.
  • Deleted accounts: hard-deleted within 24 hours from primary, within 30 days from backups.
  • Server logs: rolling 30 days, then aggregated.
  • Public recipes:remain visible at their public URL after deletion only if other cooks have saved them — credited to "@former-cook" so credit isn't lost.
